  1. Yup. The solution is in preferences. Thank you.
  2. I'm in Home Designer Pro 2022. I often have difficulty finding the rotate handle when I highlight an object. I guess it's gray by default; so it often "hides" among the other gray objects in the area. I can always find it eventually but it's sometimes like searching for Waldo. Is there any way to make this thing more prominent: Like making it bigger or changing the color of it to something bright? Thank you.
  3. I had this issue too, sort of. I had a door and a window in the same wall. The door was visible in the plan view but the window was not. I managed to fix it by deleting the foundation wall underneath it and then putting it back in. The weird thing is there were no breaks in the wall itself the foundation wall underneath it. I love Chief but it can drive you nuts sometimes.
  4. Oh for gawdssakes. That worked, Glenn, after I found the cabinet I took it out of by trial and error. Thank you. Sink is still connected to a specific cabinet even though it's been moved into the back yard. Nonsense in my opinion. I hate it when the software is so smart it's dumb. But thanks again nonetheless.
  5. Same issue here with 2017 PRO version which I have used extensively since 2016. Never encountered an issue like this before. I selected and moved a kitchen sink from a cabinet to a neutral area outside the rear of the house for possible use later. When I went back to retrieve it, I couldn't even select it let alone move it or delete it. Going back to "Undo" was not practical because I did extensive plan editing (saving revisions frequently) since moving the sink. Using that "edit area" trick suggested by DJP was of no help either. So finally, I just put a white box around so that it wasn't visible in plan view. An unartful workaround at best but I saw no other choice. But the problem came back to haunt when sending the rear elevation to a layout: there's that sink in the middle of the rear wall and so now what? I fiddled with another box and the eyedropper tool to match the surrounding exterior siding -- to make the sink invisible again. Another unartful workaround but again: no choice. But what happened when printing a hard copy?: the box appeared in the middle of the wall as a dark splotch. This is probably a rare issue but what other issues like this are lurking in this software?
