I don't think so, I divided the section of the room, then decreased the height for that area but the entire room adjusted to the height I inputted.

How could I go about changing the ceiling heights of the same room like in the attached picture? There's a second floor above this room. I used the room divider tool, but the whole ceiling still adjusts to the same height.

So I have these lights placed on a porch, and while they're turned on, they're not casting any shadows, so when I render it the area still remains dark. Is there any way to fix this issue?

So I downloaded this candle holder model, it has the exact shape I'm looking for but it only has one texture assigned to it. Is there anyway to separate the model or add another color to make the top part of it a different color?

So I'm trying to build a fireplace using Chief x11 and it has a specific texture surrounding the opening. I'm wondering how to replicate the shape and style around it, but I'm not sure how to approach it. Would I need to trace the shape and make a custom molding ?

Hey y'all, so I'm trying to replicate a shelf using Chief x11. I used an arched polyline for my shelf and attached it to the curved wall, but I'm trying to figure out how to add the little joists on the underside of the shelf. I tried adding a new molding but it winds up surrounding the whole shelf. Any tips on how to add those moldings to support the underside of the shelf?

Hey there, so I'm trying add one newel at the top, and one newel at the bottom of this staircase. However there's also a newel at the center and I'm sure how to remove it. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hey, I'm a newbie here, trying to get the hang of the software. I'm trying to change the interior wall type of one room, but it seems to effect the wall in the room next to it. I tried the break wall tool but the same keeps happening.

So I'd like to change the thickness of a particular wall to 39" but when I do, it snaps to the nearest wall and the wall length changes. Not sure how to keep the wall length the same without it automatically snapping to the nearest wall.

Hey newbie here, I can't seem to figure out how to change the height of a specific wall. When I double click the wall I want to change, I move down to components and change the wall size formula but no changes seem to be made. I want it to be a precise measurement and adjusting the wall manually won't let me get it to the exact measurement I need. Any help would be much appreciated
