  1. Ok, I'll make a new topic. I only want a facia at in an irregular orientation, no soffit. I would however draw it in a different way should it solve the problem..
  2. I know this is an old topic but this fix didn't work for me. The gaps are only on my gable ends and they are the thickness of my roof structure. I don't want a closed soffit andI'm trying to have facia board turned on it's flat edge. I don't want any trim underneath it. I just want the siding to run up to the horizontal facia. I reduced the sub facia as small as it will go to no avail. What am I doing wrong? Also I turned off my trusses in this view so that it's evident that the siding does not reach the flat facia. Also I unchecked the sub-facia all together which did nothing as well.
  3. This is the first time I've ever tried to make a custom molding using the section view of the molding profiles. I watched a video about merging existing profiles and ended up making one of my own out of a polyline and then merging it with an existing profile. It looks great! The only problem is, is that I can seem to find the "add to library" tool shown on the video. It should pop up at the bottom with all the editing tools when my custom profile polyline is selected. I don't know if this has anything todo with x11 but I thought it was worth noting since the tutorial video was for an earlier version. Thoughts? I've added a screen shot to show the editing tools available to me when my polyline is highlighted.
  4. Thank you Glenn, that works. I'll just adjust from one program to the other. Thanks!
  5. Is there a way to change the direction of the mouse zoom action on a MAC wireless mouse. I'm used to the opposite while I use auto cad. Probably a basic fix but it's been a while. Thanks. Also I should ask if this is the right forum to post this kind of question to?
