My passion for creating exceptional homes began in the early 1990’s. As a child, I honed my talent for drawing buildings by drawing what I observed with detail. As a kid guided by my father—a skilled master carpenter—I spent most of my time off school immersing myself in various construction tasks: roofing, pouring footings, drywall, installing windows, and more. These experiences instilled in me a strong work ethic and a commitment to professionalism.

During high school, I worked late nights at a local truss manufacturer while taking on my first professional drafting projects for my father’s construction endeavors. His hands-on wisdom propelled me to excel in the architectural drafting program at the career and technology center I attended. Notably, I clinched first place in a drafting competition at a local community college.

Inspired by my father, I began my adult working years as an assistant project coordinator for a large general contractor. This led me to pursue and earn a bachelor’s degree in construction management. Balancing college studies, full-time work, and service as a United States Marine Reservist, I demonstrated the work ethic inherited from my parents. Upon graduating, I secured a role as a BIM Coordinator, collaborating with talented architects and engineers on MEP design coordination for U.S. embassy compounds and other complex federal government buildings.

My expertise lies in understanding building materials, construction methods, and building science while incorporating them into an appealing design. Clients have valued me for my high-quality drafting, 3D modeling, and precise construction detailing. As a lifelong learner, I embrace the Japanese concept of “kaizen,” constantly refining my skills as a designer, business owner, parent, husband, and follower of Christ.
