I justust figured it out by changing wall type from concrete to siding.

I can't for the life of me figure out why I cant change the exterior backside of the basements wall material.

I need to put siding on some sections but for some reason it will not allow me to do this?

Very strange because I can change the exterior sidewall material in the basement.

I have been trying for an hour.

Please HELP! It's driving me crazy !

But not sure if this is the best way to go about it.

It was truly a pain but I think I have it worked out.

but need to change it to porch to get it to work properly.

Anyway that is what was screwing with the wall earlier (disappearing)

Once I changed it from patio to porch the wall would not disappear

Also I think the etched line on the Retaing wall is the footer of the wall.

First of all thanks for the help earlier adding, a thin surface to to patio concrete worked great.

What would be the best and easiest way to go about building a retaining wall for the pictured area.

I have tried both"retaining walls and terrain walls" but get unwanted results.

When changing the floor surface material (to Concrete stain) on the backyard patio, some of my foundation walls in basement disappear?

I am referencing an imported PDF drawing to trace my plan.

Is there a way to make the exterior walls semi transparent (in the palm view) so I can see where to place windows and doors.

I tried to make the wall (invisible) but it then won't let me place doors or windows.

Hope that makes sense.
