    I am asking bout two items on my pole barn drawing. First, how did you place the metal sheathing on the gable ends on the barn? 

    Second, how did you make purlins on the roof for the metal. Al I can do is make roof blocking.

      Chopsaw,

      This is the latest I have completed on the new plan set. I am figuring out a lot as I work with the program. I still cannot get the porch ceiling to be covered with the same siding as the sides. 

      My next addition is to be the shed roof area on the long 40' side of the building no slab just posts and metal roof.

      Also, can you explain how the material list gets the footage for the 12' x 36" metal siding.

      It was great talking with you last night. Thanks again. 

      I have been looking over the materials list on the plan we discussed. It does not give me the exact materials needed to accomplish my goals. I need to produce accurate material lists to be able to sell a pole barn. Now, to the specifics in the material list. First, GN1 it shows r wall panels, size is not understandable. Material list does not show standing seam metal in  36" width for  exterior walls, only metal  siding in sizes of 12'x8'x3/4" under siding line 27.  When I go to the framing view on a wall side it shows the correct siding materials (standing seam). The roof area shows the correct materials - standing seam. The list also doubles up on materials on lines 44 & 49. Any help wiil be appreciated. Have a blessed week end.
