The only realistic solution I have come across is the one you have already mentioned: Add a vented cavity batten behind the cladding to bring the outside of the cladding out beyond the start of the brick (51mm from stud). It also works if you make the brick layer a main layer, but that does introduce a host of unintended consequences.

Chief does not generate cad shadows for the fences as they are just walls set to follow the slope of the terrain and normally don't form "rooms". You can just do manual cad shadows using a cad shadow template for the fences and things like un-modelled neighbouring properties. september 22nd shadows.calibz

Hi All. I do some work for a builder specialising in residential extensions and renovations here in Melbourne. They are a small boutique company mainly operating in Melbourne's eastern suburbs and have their own internal design & drafting team. The drafting workload has grown to the point where the current drafting team are unable to keep up. Is there anyone out there proficient in Chief Architect (X12 preferably) who would be interested in taking on a bit of overflow work.
