  1. Secondly, I did not drag the 30'' Bounding Box to 17 Inch rather what I did, I mentioned above and on the other hand, I am free not to follow the US standard codes and yes the plan I want to work on allows me to have a one-piece toilet in 17 inches of width. Size in width is correct. I am confused (as you wrote above) on why the approximately 15 inches wider toilet have the Bounding Box of 30 Inches?
  2. In the first picture i uploaded, first I adjusted the FIXTURE SPECS and it started looking like 9 inches wide in the 2D plan then I rechecked the Bounding Box specs and those were set to 30x36x25 1/8 inches afterwards I changed these sizes to 17x27x25 1/8 inches at that point Bounding Box which was far away from the fixture squeezed itself close to the fixture but fixture remained in its previous state of sizes i.e 9 inches by PTP tool I then stretched the handle manually to the required width. My question was ''How could I make the fixtures to follow the custom size I provide in FIXTURE Specification Box automatically?"
  3. Thanks for the help but may I know a little more as I did not properly understand. The problem occurs when I observe the associated size to the toilet in 3d view I have literally stretched the toilet to 17 inches in width to get to the actual view.
  4. I actually was already doing this way as you suggested but to know something other than this '' fixture does not scale itself automatically when you tweak the bounding box to the required size''. I have to drag the bounding box handles afterwards to stretch the fixture wider or longer.
  5. Dear Friends, I am confused somewhere as I was preparing for a bathroom. In fixture specification dialog the one-piece toilet is 17 inches in width whereas point to point dimension tool is showing 9 inches in 2d plan. What's wrong am I doing?
  6. As a hint, the place is not a perfect square rather it has angular walls for whom the plan is made. I have ignored the caution of angles of walls. May it be the culprit?
  7. Hello, I am confused somewhere on how to bring back the FLOOR STRUCTURE and FLOOR FINISH options in room specification dialog as of now I am having just the CEILING STRUCTURE and CEILING FINISH options. Thanks in advance.
  8. Problem solved. Please close the thread. solution; I separated the room on the top floor with the room divider which was open below previously, now open below room is just the 1st one from left.
  9. Hi, Having a problem with a specific room ceiling which doesn't show on camera during the render. on room specification dialog that specific room possesses a ceiling and a roof. Viewing from above the 2nd floor you can judge the problem. Red arrowed and red encircled room have a ceiling and a roof in the room specification dialog but does not show in rendering. As a reference and convenience in understanding the scene, the adjoining room encircled and arrowed with green is a roofless room. What could be the problem? Another thing i would like to clarify is that the red encircled room's ceiling height is lower than other rooms on that particular floor.
  10. A new question, yet another time. If I rotate Y axis of a symbol in 2d plan view it shows rotated only in 3d view whereas in 2d plan view symbol keeps its previous axis intact. How to get out of this illusion?
  11. Issue solved. Thank you for your kind attention and help.
  12. will i have to recreate the block after exploding to make it symbol again?
  13. exploding the block and rejoining the sticks into a frame is a tedious thing that's why I did not opt for this trial. If this way is the only solution, I better make a new grill on the third floor.
  14. as a try, I placed this symbol out of the building into space staying at 3rd floor in plan view eventually I have to look deep towards the ground and I found my symbol laying at the ground floor level in camera view.
  15. I do not have this option to choose the height from the floor or offset from the ceiling and yes the problem is with offset. Because symbol is made at ground floor and if I try to put it on the 2nd floor it stays at its basic ground floor level in camera view. I am amazed at my own that how did I managed when I copy pasted the same symbol as of ground floor and it is showing both in plan view and camera view on the first floor!
  16. If I try to put the symbol within the camera view, the size of the symbol enlarges and because the architectural blocks are uneditable once stored in the user catalogue. I fail to fix the issue.
  17. Does an architectural block saved inside the user catalogue posses the x,y and z values? I found none.
  18. want it to be like this I made on the first and second floor of the same building.
  19. Hi, I am facing a problem and need your kind guidance in fixing the issue. I have made an architectural block and have stored it into my user catalogue for future installations which is a window grill.i have made a triple story house and on first and second floor grill is installed with the windows but on third floor whenever I try to fit in the grill with the window it disappears in camera view but remains present in plan view.what could be the cause?
  20. Information in these links does not provide the solution to make the simulated light glow during the Ray Trace. Somehow I tried to tweak with the settings and get as close as I could but irritating part is the glow just at the centre of each light source.
