I want to show a railing extension past the last stair tread. Cant seem to find anything in the default dialogue for this. Do I need to add a manual railing extension?

OK, so toggle back on when dealing with windows, doors, etc, etc. Thanks!

Is there a way to shut off "Cad tops Move" for everything, always? I can think of zero instances where this is helpful (to me) and it really bogs me down when I have to override it instance by instance. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, I tried to install. Definitely not X9.

You should be able to reorganize the schedule after you finish your revisions. Just select the schedule and grab the control handle in the Number Box and slide it back to position 13.
Well well! I had no idea you could even do that! Thank you sir!

Thank you Eric, you're a national treasure!

Is there a way to explode a mulled door unit but keep the schedule from updating itself? I need the door in the attached image to remain a D13 but also need to reverse its swing. When I explode it to change the swing it becomes D1. This wreaks havoc on the rest of the drawing set - specifically my elevations which are all CAD details and not live views...

Eric,
Is that a custom material? My library doesn't have it and if I choose wire mesh it behaves the same as the screen material - IE disappears in line drawings...

Yes, I am trying to get the upper shaped windows to look like the lower ones in the B&W image

Wow, yeah I had to look really hard to see the overlaying. Looks great but seems far to clunky to make it worth it. Thank you though!

OK, thanks. Were you ever able to? I seem to remember a way to do it in an older version.

How does one turn off the automatic naming of a room whenever I make a new pace inside an existing room type?

He's using a diff program, haha
Yes that PDF was when I was still using AutoCAD. I am now on a 95% Chief Based Diet

OK, I understand the request, I think in most arch standards books-it would denote a swing direction with a thinner line weight, my overall request would be to give separate control to all elements of the door display since we aren't given any CAD options in the symbol DBX....I also fully promote going against conventional drafting standards as it can be a method to promote change for the better.
An aside, I shy away from dashed lines on anything that doesn't represent a section cut or an element reflecting in a reverse plane(soffits) etc.- this certainly is debatable.
I'd suggest putting up a request in the suggestion forums..thumbs up!
Yeah, I picked up this swing style from my first job in an Architects office fresh out of college. They were very much a trend bucking, punk rock firm. Thanks for your time and insight. .

I like that look. And your reasoning.
Thank you. Unfortunately it seems that there is not a practical workaround to generate this look in Chief

See attached

I like the door solid and the swing path dashed because, well it doesn't really exist. Just something I have always done.

Bummer. Going back and forth with CAD is to much work. Thanks.

Is there a way to show the door swing arc path as a dashed line in plan view?
Thank you
