This morning I called and spoke to support. The suggestions was to stack light sources and change the absolute value on each to place at incremental heights to achieve the appearance of back lighting. For instance the distance from ceiling to floor is 108". I placed five lights and spaced them out evenly then adjusted the lumens and light coloring. Hope this helps someone! Kindly, Tamela

I am not able to open in X9. "The selected object could not be loaded. The object my have been written by a later version." Are you using X10?

I think creating a symbol is the ticket. See the sconce lighting? Those are "lighting white" however I didn't not convert the sconce to a symbol. I will give your advice a go. Much appreciation, Tamela

Thank you in advance for your help... I need to create a soft glow behind the sink cabinet. The tiled wall framed in wood sets 6" proud of the back wall. I've tried adding puck lighting (turned vertical) with varying numbers of pucks and illuminations -- 5 to 19 pucks per side with custom illumination of 1% to 7%. When ray traced either gaps between two few lights or not all illuminate with too many lights. Does anyone have a solution? Kind regards, Tamela

Kitchen floats in the middle of the space. Need to rotate the kitchen island to match but now able. I would like to do it by setting an exact angle -- even if it's individual cabinets and not as a whole unit -- but I don't a place to do that. Help will be greatly appreciated. Kind regards, Tamela

Good morning! Does anyone have a source to send renderings to be ray traced? I have 12 rooms with 2 views each (24 total) to be traced. Kind regards, Tamela

Happy New Year! What white paint for walls gives the best result after ray tracing? I am doing a white bathroom with gloss cabinets and polished tiles. Small window and balance of light source from cans. Thank you in advance for your help. Kind regards, Tamela

I will give that a try. I RT'd another bathroom in the same project and the glass was fine. The tile is a General Material. Thank you, Tamela

Thank you, Dennis -- much better. I tried the different glass options as well to no avail -- validating to know you had the same issues -- I felt so alone in my pain LOLLLL Thanks for the tip on sconce lighting. I drop those down to 15w but I think pushing them away from the wall is a good idea. I'll take a look at MS Picture Manager. I have wondered on more than one occasion is folks are running RT images through PhotoShop. Again, much appreciation! Kind regards, Tamela
