Anyone know why my material may be coming in upside down — notice in screenshot that it is correct in Library. Also making extra tile rows that are not in my

jpg exported from Adobe ID. I have unchecked Retain Aspect ratio and input exact size of wall that tile goes on in tub area. Also did that in ID creating image

at same size as wall. For clarification, gold tile meant to sit at tub with diagonal decos and off whites going to the ceiling.

  2. Oh jeez! Does it ever get easier? So if anyone is still in the mood to help, see how in the screenshot the image in the Library isn't the same as what was painted on the backsplash? I made it 19" high in InDesignIsecond screenshot) so why isn't it correlating appropriately? What have I done now? Do I have to do it one by one in CA?

  3. As per usual, my ignorance may prevail; however, will I be able to "cut" tiles in the backsplash as needed? I have my pattern set in ID but need to make it so that I can join the pattern as necessary. I'm liking the way my pattern is showing up with clear tile images since I took them from photos rather than screenshots.

  4. Yes! How did you get an image of the icon?

So my tiles are jpegs and I gather they need to be something different? Oh yes, I see in my other client file that they were PDF's.

So I'm making a backspl. with grout in Adobe InDesign. I'm going to check out now so I can walk my dog. I'll be back at it tomorrow and give a report.

You all are awesome and I have to say, though I get super frustrated, this is much better than VectorWorks!

thank you ,thank you, thank you!

  5. DzinEye, when i attempt to put the tile in your plan or mine, I get an "I" in a white circle w/ seriph unlike what is shown here.

When I try to take a screenshot to send to you, the cursor makes the I in the circle go away so I'm not able to show you what it looks like and

the tile doesn't come into the plan? i have been successful with other brought in images (fabrics, etc.) so not sure what is not working now?

  6. I used Mac photo edit to crop so they are perfectly square. I don't have any grout line since I have photos of each tile. Taking screenshots makes for fuzzier pics. Not sure how I'm going to show the client a terra cotta grout but I'll take that on once I get a damn pattern for the backsplash!

  7. Ok I guess I just have to play with it because I am still not understanding the specifics of what you are saying. I'll start with blocks of 9 tiles and import to browser. Seems crazy to pay this much for a program and have it be so time-consuming!

I very much appreciate your giving me your time in this!
