I need someone to create full set of construction documents of our home designs, there is a caveat though, CDs need to be done in Autocad Architecture (I have an extra license of ACA that I can assign to you to complete the projects) I am sure some of you still use Autocad or have used it extensively in the past. Interested please let me know Thx

Like I mentioned, use the tool that best suits your needs. In the work I do (custom residential, TND's) someone else takes care of the structure and estimating, I don't have a need for any of those tools. What I want is great looking graphics and a software that behaves like I need it to do.... -
LIke I mentioned, I have been using the same Evoluent mouse for 6 years, no issues! works beautifully in any software (I used Autocad, Chief and some Archicad) Highlyl recommended! Just order the correct size, depending on your hand/grip size

After 20 years of computer work I started developing some wrist pain (probably carpal tunnel syndrome) - I ended up buy this mouse and the pain went away in a couple of days! I have been using it for 6 years (the same one!) about $100 well worth it...takes a day or 2 to get used to it... https://evoluent.com/

You don't have to pay $6k, you can just do the monthly subscription or buy Archicad SOLO version, which is more like $2500 for a perpetual license. All I can tell you is that Archicad is and it will always be more advanced and sophisticated that what you and I will ever need....Yes, things at first looked very confusing but as you grasp it it becomes easier and easier.....CA in the other hand looks easy to use but then it gets more confusing! lol J/K....use the tools that best suit your needs.... -

I am learning Archicad and I am loving it more and more everyday! It just looks and feels so professional....you have the control, not the software.....is it perfect? No, but is seems perfect for what I do -
I want to like Chief but I feel like I have to spend more time finding fixes and workarounds.

I designed a custom home for a client (I did not use chief) and my client would like to see a 3D interior model of th main floor. I am looking for someone to model the floor plan on Chief
