My first guess is that the roof baseline is not over the wall main layer. Second is the wall default top height has been changed. 

Best to post a stripped-down copy of the plan for best answers. 

Also what version of Chief are you using?

I went down the path to attempt this look, style using wood and standing seam roof.  Created in x16.

Try materials, Siding and Paneling, Fiber Cement, panels

See if that material will work. Resize material to mfg spec. as required using the rainbow tool icon.

In your foundation wall defaults image, middle of picture. "Elevation of lower wall top" try setting this to -8" - then check the alignment with main layer inside. 

Also you may have to extend (in your wall dbx) your brick ledge depth to floor thickness + 8" 

 I can't figure it out quick, so I turned on the option to 

use the secondary dimension option showing decimal feet.

I believe the dimension text size is set by layer now. That is why the option is only for temp dimensions now.

There is one option to adjust your number view type in dbx to decimal feet. Then you just enter numbers and it makes it feet.

I just tested my metric plan template, all working as expected. All views showing metric sizes.

Were you using beta before the full release?

I would suggest try a repair install, then tech support if that doesn't work.

Shot in the dark, did you rebuild the foundation after setting to 24"?

Is the room set to unspecified or a room name? 

Are the defaults for foundation set to your desired settings?

Just some thoughts. 

In my experience, you need to make sure your default setting for minimum separation is set to 0. 

Then your rough opening settings are set to the Manufacturer's offset.

I have my setting unchecked as Chris mentioned, I forgot to mention that part. it has been set like that for so long 

The blocking in Allen's picture is set to 1/16" and not checked on. Not at my computer. Maybe turning back on?

Have you tried the enter key? that works for x16

I would recommend using a polyline solid for this instance. I tested your example and came up with the same result. It seams that the wall auto wraps the end with the exterior layer material in elevations. 

I would use the support page on Chief's website. Go to your account screen and use the technical support page.

Maybe its your display wall width is turned off

You can make it to look like your last picture. Solid wall type fill, turn off casing inside and outside. Pick a script type font.

As Eric said build a 2nd floor. I attached a copy for you to look at.

I deleted the corner cabinet and placed a new base cabinet. Changed the default front of 3 drawers to 1 false drawer front. Then deleted hardware and stretched from left to right then turned into a corner cabinet. It looks like it's working. hth

Try 2 doors stacked vertically and mull them together. Add trim if needed with molding line tool in elevation/ cross section view.

I don't think so, default setting is global. You will have to manually edit the porch roof.

I don't think there is a way to get temp dims to work. Looks like manually placing or auto room interior using electrical dimension defaults.

I think manual edit the porch, auto roofs are set to the default roof settings.

I would take an elevation camera view, then import the pdf page and then draw over it with the 3d solid tool.

Have you looked at the 3d text we have in the library? Maybe the style will work.
