  1. Would be even nicer to have the 2D plan shape editable that way we could rename the door and allow for the roller door thickness based on height and roller size. Long overdue! I thought this would have been a simple fix / option years ago! We use roller doors extensively and its always a work around using a white line over the top of the existing one (No fill but a heavier line weight) and a new box with horizontal or vertical hatching to suit and installed on the same layer as the door.
  2. Hi All and thanks to Eric and Mick for responding. After having spent some considerable time trying to find a way to achieve this I managed to do it by using a single "Pocket Door" using glass panel, and creating a series of stacked vertical windows, 2 with single awning and one fixed and blocked to create one window. I then blocked the pocket door with the window to get the desired Look (Both in plan and elevation)... I gave it a specific label and treated it as a door where it shows with the correct "Specified Label" and have given it a specific code manufacture information etc to show correctly on the door schedule and material pricing list. 3. Hi All Any ideas how to acomplish this please... We have a company which uses this door type (1800w x 2040 high 2 panel ranch slider with crash rails 800 high from ffl and 2040 high with 2 x 600 awning windows in the fixed exterior panel) extensively and want to create it as a "door" that can be reversed to have the opening panel either LH or RH opening... I've tried using a standard ranch slider with muntins for the crash rails successfully, but have been unable to insert the windows using muntins and showing the opening indicators on the elevations... Any help would be appreciated. Regards Steve
  4. I am wanting to open a second chief architect program so I can copy paste from layout text How can this be accomplished please. Or how can can I copy items from one layout to another Steve
  5. Hi All Is there a way to force a rebate in a monolithic slab when creating a garage door with a flr-bottom dimension of -25mm then edit the slab rebate? Steve
  6. Hi All I have collinear walls joined together. One being brick veneer, one being timber cladding. Both walls are made up of solid 36 metrapanel with 70 structural framing battens on the outside. Brick has a 40 cavity with 70 series Brick, the other has 70 structural battens and a 20 cavity batten with palliside PVC w/brd. The Solid Wall panel will provide the main structural frame and the structural framing battens provide the structural element for the Lintel supports. I want to place a window in the w/brd wall hard up to the Brick Veneer wall without any framing to the side of the window. (The Lintel will be supported by 70framing from the brick wall beside) Where are the settings to allow me to force the window to the very end of the w/brd wall . The window placement is critical for interior kitchen layout and it just doesn’t look right with the window casing showing behind a pantry unit in elevation view. Regards Steve
  7. Hi all I have sent 3 pdf blocks to layout from 3 separate CAD details. (They were images that we blocked with some lines and added to the library to save re-drawing them) the problem is that my pdf writer is screwing two of the images throwing them over my title block and not where they show on my layout page. They show correctly on the layout page and print correctly on my A3 printer, however, they don't print correctly on the pdf writer. Any ideas on how to fix? Steve (NZ)sht9.pdf
