JMYERS, I'm in your boat. I am a builder of 25 years. I wanted to make my own plans just to control the little things. My draftsperson took a month to move a wall, and add a shower. So I downloaded the trial, fell in love and bought the program by the end of the day. I have now drawn a dozen plans or so, same type as you listed on your question. It took me from November to now to do this. Of course you have to do your regular work all day and draw evenings and weekends. I love it. But...the time contribution is enormous. Go for it. Dave

Mr. dshall, How do I proceed to get CA to dimension to centers IF, I have every place I can find set to "dimension to wall centers?" Seems as though CA does it whenever it wants to. 80% of time yes, sometimes no. Even zooming in does not change the deal. Most of the problem is when I am dimensioning from center to center on inside walls.
