  1. G'day Larry humble chief...found that video very helpful, thanks for taking the time. However I did find that saving as an exterior fixture didn't go so smoothly (waaaay above my paygrade). Perhaps something to do with resizing object vs object edge?? Ok now I'm just rambling..back to my first comment, thanks for taking the time. I've just noticed the date on this thread..are there any updates?
  2. Ha ha awesome. My daugther's initials are KB and I just couldn't get past that. Yes dumb but there you go. I'm in Smithers BC, Thanks for the tip. I'll look it up. I'm a builder and have been using CA on and off since v 10. Would love to be better at it but there's only so many tools I can use in one day. Thanks again.
  3. Hey Mick/Chopsaw. Thanks for leads, Mick, KB?
  4. Hi all, I've been trying to find information here in regards to building a house on concrete tubes due to bedrock and uneven terrain. I would also incorporate covered parking. Ideas??
  5. Dan you are a miracle worker! And Lew I really appreciate you asking the Q. If someone like you was a little unsure then I don't feel quite so dumb. rest assured I did try. I very much appreciate this as I really need these drawings to work so as to convince both myself and my wife that I deserve x6!! Thanks again
  6. Hey all, Back on CA for the first time in a while. I'm having problems with the layout scaling. I have everything set to 1/2" = 1ft but when I click on ok it transfers to my layout page so small I can barely see it. A 40' wall at 1/2" to 1'-0 should be represented on the layout page as 20" long I believe. I have made adjustments to preferences, defaults etc but with no luck. any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have tried searches to no avail. I realise that one of the suggestions will be to up grade but at this time is not an option. Thanks in advance, Lee Boland. V10
