Working with Layout Pages

I am building my layouts for a project including my general notes, code and ADA compliance documentation. On ADA compliance I need to show a vertical cut of the bathroom fixtures. I have an image of the standard in my image library but can't seem to import or paste it into the page? Is there a better approach for creating this page?  I've attached the image I'm trying to place on the page.
