Line Problem in Elevations

Hello @SteveTiek,

I have seen this behavior before when the plan is very far from the plan's origin point. (x:0, y:0). This can typically be resolved by using the Edit Area (All Floors) tool to move your design back to 0,0.

Here is a resource that will walk you through those steps: https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-03124/troubleshooting-origin-error-messages.html

If this doesn't seem to resolve the issue, or if you would like assistance, please contact us via the Technical Support Center: https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-00717/using-the-technical-support-center.html

I hope this helps!

Ok great. When I started the steps to the link you sent me I found that there was this line object really far away from my floor plan. The only problem is that I can't select it to delete it. I've made sure that all locked layers were turned off and even turned off all CAD layers to see if it was that but it is still there. How can I fix this so that when I "Select All" it just selects my floor plan.

Aha, far away objects will cause similar behavior!

This article will walk you through identifying and deleting far away objects: https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-00021/troubleshooting-small-or-blank-camera-overviews.html

Sometimes these can be very very far away and can be tricky to delete (like not being able to be selected normally). If you're unable to delete this object following the resource above please submit a ticket through our Technical Support Center.
