Aliases and X17 project management

I have a chief window with folders of my drafting clients that is broken into sections. (Active, waiting, calls to make, bill customer, billed, he’s dead Jim)

Each folder has a caricature of the client. I move the folders around to see what I have to do that day. Can I change these folders to aliases + tie them to X17 Project Management?
