Elevation Data with existing floor plan

I've created a house in a plan and am trying to now add elevation data.  Everything I've tried creates terrain that covers the lower half of the house, so I'm asking for help.

 

What I want to do - the house is sitting on level ground (I tried putting a region here at 0").  Then, it slopes down 3' on all sides (over a 15' distance).  It then levels out again for the rest of the property.

 

Any suggestions/help would be appreciated.  I tried 'elevation lines' and 'elevation regions', using the lines to show a -36" difference from where the house is.

Read the terrain menu again. The setting is for distance from subfloor. A negative prefix will move terrain above the subfloor. Eliminate the "-" and that should get you started
