RBSdrafter
After upgrading to x17 I had an issue that caused most of my user library to disappear completely. I've been trying to rebuild but I had a custom shutter attached to this window and I can't find a way to add it back to the library. It is not available under the library button as I made it myself. Is there any way to add the shutters that are currently on a window to your user library?
Eric_S
You can right-click the window and use Add to Library As... to add the custom shutter itself to the library.

I was able to do this with a few doors but for some reason "Add to Library As" is not available when I select the window. Only the regular "Save to Library." If that's not it, you can use "Export Library" on the object in your user catalog, upload it here, and I can give a more definitive answer. Anytime I attempt to explode it the shutters will disappear. I'm happy to still upload a copy of my user catalog if that might help.

A workaround might be to use "Convert to Symbol" on the mulled unit - convert it to a Millwork symbol and add it to the library. Then, place it in a plan, and use 3D -> "Delete Surface" to remove everything except one of the shutters. Then, use "Convert to Symbol" again on the result. You have to use "Convert to Symbol" and not just "Add to Library" to preserve your edits, as far as I can tell.

Deleting all the surfaces was a pain of course but definitely worth it. Thank you so much for the help!
