PitMan71
Is there a way to get more control over roof hole edge snapping. I have a situation on a dormer where the first floor is brick exterior and the dormer frame sits on the first floor framed wall, BUT the wall is siding. The roof hole will not snap to the face of the dormer. My guess is that it has something to do with the attic walls flanking the dormer being brick faced as well because the roof is hopped up there. I have had this situation before but I never had such an issue. On the attached .plan its the dormer on the rear of the home. Thanks for having a look. PitMan71
I fixed this. There is setting in the roof object DBX, General Tab, Measurements called "Use Special Snapping". The radio box beside it was checked creating the behavior I was experiencing. Nice to know that is there as it can be useful.
