Room Divider Tool Not Working?

Hi everyone.

 

Has anyone ran into an issue where a room divider just stops working completely?   While working on a plan I tried to raise a ceiling and used the room divider tool.  The divider was placed and shows on the drawing but when I go to select the particular room I want to change ceiling heights in it highlights both of the rooms.

 

I did a quick test outside my house by drawing just a quick rectangular room and then tried to split the room in two by using the room divider tool and again...it shows the room divider spitting the room in two but when I try to select either half the entire room is selected....thoughts anyone?

The room divider is like any other wall. Click on it and then open the DBX. On the general tab, under Options make sure the "No Room Definition" is NOT checked. Also, I would check the wall type and see what it is reporting. If that doesn't work post the plan so we can have a look.

Hey thanks for the quick reply....that was exactly the issue, "No Room Definition" was checked.  Much appreciated!
