Barrel Vault Ceiling structure under another floor

Hi all,

 

I am currently designing a home, and the owner would like a barrel vault ceiling in the main entry hallway which would require structure like the attached picture.  I have watched a lot of videos on the website, but most of them only deal with this sort of feature in a room with the attic above.

 

Each time I try to find a work around for this, as soon as I go into the structure for the room and remove flat ceiling I get a message that the room above must be open below.  That is not possible as there is another hallway above.

 

I have tried every option I have been able to think of, but just can't seem to find the correct way to do this type of ceiling.

 

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
