Wall Structure in Mexico

Hi Everyone,

 

I recently moved to Lake Chapala Mexico, and I would like to start expanding my portfolio to include some designs for the area so that when I have my full residency I can start working with local builders.  The main issue I am having is that the local builders seem to use all sorts of different concrete blocks for exterior and interior walls.  I am curious if there is a standard that anyone using Chief may have already created.  Footers also seem to be based on the whim of the builder, but perhaps that is just a misunderstanding on my part.

 

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
