Rich Text Editor and Layout page display error

Curious if anyone else has come across this issue. When "Tabing" text within the rich text box the display will often show correctly but the actual layout on the page shows incorrectly. I assume I'm doing something incorrectly. Anyone come across this? Have solutions?

 

 

P.S. I'm realizing as I type this that setting up a table may be my solution but still the issue is there and would like to understand what I'm doing incorrectly. Thanks!
