Just converting to Chief Arch from Auto Cad and struggling with wall heights. Footings 24" x 8" basement  walls are ICF 13" wide 9' tall with 24" open bar joist which make the ceiling height 11' to with a 4" concrete cap. Upper level walls are ICF 9" wide with a ceiling height of 10' with vaulted ceiling on family room/kitchen that carries out over the covered deck.

I'm looking for some suggestions on how to build the sloped ceiling underneath the stair platform. I can make a sloped ceiling plane, but then I don't' know how to build it out. All of the other methods I've seen require building a roof. However this does not have or need any roof framing. I guess I could build a polyline solid and save that as a soffit? Is that the best way to do it? It's kind of an odd setup if you ask me, but I need to include the detail in an as built plan for a remodel project.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

I am wondering how I can set up my foundation walls and main floor so that I can have a slab on one part and a framed floor on the other that flush out at the same level.
But I would like the top of the ICF foundation walls to have a double sill plate with the concrete poured inside of that where the slab is and the other side would have accommodations for the framing to come out at the same height. I have a simple plan attached and some cross section details of how the top of foundation wall would look.
I know I can just build it with the slab at the same level as the house and then just have these detail drawings included in the plan but I am wondering if there is a way to actually have Chief build it this way?

What am I doing wrong? In the physical based rendering, my recessed lighting doesn't look right. Also, the rope lighting under the wall cabinets are only lighting certain areas of the backsplash?

We're trying to figure out how to change the angle of pendent lights on vaulted ceilings. When we create the ceiling angle, the lights follow and aren't angled properly. How do we change the lights so they go vertical rather than at a tilt?

The upstairs bedrooms have high vaulted ceilings and shed dormers to make room, allowing the big windows to invite lots of light.
