Why do Window Defaults not work like Door Defaults

We set up our template with the various doors styles and windows we use in plans.  We were hoping we could just select the door/window and click set as default to change the doors and windows to match.  Doors Panels seem to work, but the lite pattern in windows does not.  The casing defaults don't copy with either.  Do you all know of another way to do this?

 

We typically have a Header Buildup for the lintel when working on Craftsman homes, both for the door and the windows.  This would be a nice feature if the window lites had defaults.
