Attic Truss Control

Hi Chiefs, I am not quite sure how to fix this attic truss issue I have. In the plan attached is the effect I want. The screen shot represents what I have.  I need to find a way to have the ceiling and wall finish show in the attic room, and most importantly I want to know how to control the width of the attic truss so I can accurately show the truss we will use in the section cut. I was under the impression that the placement of attic walls help dictate the shape of the truss, but I guess that was a mistake.

 

So, how do I control the width of the room on an attic truss, and what conditions do I need to get the room finishes to show?
