Is there a way to Manually set the "Active" layer by going to the Active Layer Display? I'm an experienced AutoCAD user and still use AutoCAD practices. I can't seem to find this in User Manuals anywhere or in video.

Set the Default Fill Pattern to what I want? It appears that the default fill pattern is angled line. I want to be able to change the default per the layer set I'm in. For instance, when I do marketing plans I go back and put a Solid Hatch in on walls. I'd like to be able to set a default for a Layer set where I can show Existing in one color and New in another color.
