  1. Thank you. Unfortunately that's not it. I've never messed with any these settings before. It just suddenly started doing this. Here is a video. The screen capture doesn't show the "Adjust Sunlight" menu. But in this video, I am adjusting the tilt and direction angle of the sun. You will see the shadows not showing on the house like normal. And when I ray trace, the shadows are really overly dark. I'll keep troubleshooting to find out what happened.

  2. I open plan in 3D view as normal. The sun shading is not showing. I manipulate the setting but its not showing the shadows. it's tough to explain. It shows once it ray trace. I've never ran into this before. It's doing this on all my project files.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

Thank you. I had it correct on my profile. I did not know it needed to be done there too. Thank you for showing me.

  4. I deleted the LIVING AREA SF. This has came up over the years and going through the "Plan Check" has always been the solution. For some reason I can not get it back this time. Please help me figure out my mistake.

I tried to upload the .plan but it is over the 14MB limit

    I'm using X14

    Thank you

  5. I have done it before and can not figure out how I did it. What are the steps to rotate a shutter, so it shows open from the bottom. So the bottom should be off the house about 24" and the top is still on the house.

  6. My floors are all out of whack. lol

Please take a look and see what I am not seeing wrong.

    1st FL - 96"

    2nd FL - 120"

    3rd FL - 120"

    All floors 16" floor trusses

It's like it's missing a floor or combining floors.

  7. Update:

I get this error when opening the file now.

    c:\p4sync\dev\releases\21\chief\camodel\plan\document.cpp(3361): Warning #272032643

"1080 object(s) are too far away from the origin in "Site Plan2.plan". You can delete them, or try to move them closer to the origin, but they will not keep their position relative to other objects in your plan."

When in 3D view, the materials within the walls/roof show. Some kind of a glitch and I can not figure this one out. Attached is the file. See if it does the same for you. Let me know if you can see what I may have inadvertently done.

    Thanks for the help. -Steve
