  1. Thank you Steve, That worked but had issues with reflect still.... Turns out I had to remove the sills for it to reflect. Thank you kindly for your advice.

  3. Is there something I am missing? Why can I not select "reflect vertically"? I know it is always something silly that is left checked or unchecked. Thank you

  5. Thank you Eric, I searched Diagonal, and should have searched diamond. Thanks again.
  6. Is there a way to create a diamond shaped window? Perhaps I have not downloaded the appropriate window catalogue. Or is this something I have to manually draw in a Cad elevation? Thanks in advance
  7. Beat me to it lol. X14 just installed a few hours ago.... crashed on me before I could find the issue.
  8. Got it... Thanks Eric. The extra layer was under MAIN instead of interior layers. Thank you so much.
  9. Thank you for the video! I have no idea what is going on in my plan. I was using end to end... I tried the other versions point to point and interior. I am still getting the same results... I goes from insulation layer to center, skipping the stud layer.
  10. Hi Eric, It is very prelim. I am at the stage of locating my interior walls. Which is where I am having my problems. I would typically have an 8ft room dimensioned 8'-1" stud to stud. (eg. top left room) In this case I want 8'-2" stud to stud but can't get the dimension off my insulation layer and attach to the interior stud layer. Thank you for looking. Purdon.plan
  11. I added a new layer (1 in rigid insulation) to the interior of my exterior wall. (As per contractor's request) When I dimension my walls, I like to dimension exterior and interior dimensions to the wall Stud. I can't get the dimension marker to attach to the stud layer. I tried making changes in the wall settings dimension to.. (if I select the new insulation layer, all my exterior dimensions change to the interior stud) I can get the exterior dimensions to go back to the proper stud layer location but I have to change all my exterior dimensions manually. I also tried changing in the preferences, but still not helping the situation. Am I missing something? Would be nice to be able to manually attach my dimension line to any layer of a wall assembly. Please help. Thank you kindly
  12. Thank you KBird1 Guess I missed that area for info. I was looking in this forum and at videos with no luck. Thank you for pointing me in a different direction. Much appreciated.
  13. Does CA have a corner window (No Post)? If not, how can a person make one? And be able to add it to a window schedule. Thank you.
  14. Thank you Eric found the check box based on your recommendation. I guess that helps. Definitely works different than I am used to. Did they change the way this works? Sorry, just migrated from X7 to X12 about 2 weeks before X13 arrived so I am having a crazy time adjusting. How cameras work was the biggest learning curve/frustration for me. thanks again.
  15. Not sure if I'm missing something since new update. My toilets and cabinets are moving through walls. Had to use the control key to make this happen in the past. Is there a setting that has been changed and if so how do I find it to revert back to the old settings. Thank you kindly.
  16. I tried selecting it from the preview but it wasn't working. But thank you for the heads up, will try on the next one. The reason why I put the 3 planes was that seemed to be the only way I could keep the bottom part from relocating in elevation. with just the top stretch points the bottom would jump up or down. I probably still don't understand the technical aspects of how the stretch planes work. As I mentioned it was a lot of trial and error. Thank you kindly for your insight to this. It was my first symbol. Next one I want to try is a 6x6 on sonotube on bigfoot pad.
  17. Definitely took a lot of trial and error, but finally got what I was looking for. Thank you very much for your input Levis. Much Appreciated. File attached if needed. Thanks again. Helical Pile.calibz
  18. I am assuming that the Height Z column is where I want to set the perameters. Do you know what I need to do or input for the bottom 18" to stay solid/unchanged and the top (above 18" to adjust in height? I put 18" in Item 3 but it is still not working the way I want it to. I see the square break show up when I enter the amount there.
  19. I have it now.... Just trying to figure out how it works. Thank you very much Levis
  20. Maybe I blocked the image wrong, because I am not seeing the stretch plane box
  21. Good day Forum! Does someone in here know how to create symbols/shape? I had received a block from an instructor mid 2000's of a 10" concrete pile. The bottom representing a sono tube and footing would stay intact. When adjusting the height of the object in elevation with the object handle, the height would adjust a 6x6 post. It was also easy to move around in elevation. I really appreciated this symbol/shape in my plans. I am trying to construct a Helical Pile (metal screw post) with the same capabilities. Unfortunately, when adjusting the height, the bottom (with the screws) squishes and/or distorts. Any recommendations or help to get this shape Fixed with the possibility to share with others would be greatly appreciated. The materials are concrete and need to be changed to metal. The attached Metal bottom and top are from just playing around, but pretty much what I am looking for when combined. Thank you. Foundation Posts.calibz
