I have created a sloped deck by using a roof plane, having trouble to put a railing on the deck... Any ideas Now using X11

I am using X10 and attached is a pic of something along the lines I would like to recreate

Wondering how to create multiply siding types on wall. I would like to somehow apply vertical and horizontal sidings separated be trim boards across a wall, but done want to have to keep changing wall types as siding changes are typically near windows/doors.

Having trouble finding a way to slope joist in a deck area attached to a house, also how to slope the deck plywood subfloor and finished vinyl surface after. I know the slope the deck needs. Do I actually need to treat as a roof surface? or is there another way??

I have to put rafters in manually as I am doing an "As Found" drawing of a 1903 house and things are no necessarily space evenly.

I am having trouble with creating a rafter system on a roof. The roof planes are correct as required but when I am creating rafters, particularly where 1 or more roof plane overlap (due to dormers) the rafters seem to follow the "wrong" roof plane. How do you select what roof plane you want a rafter to follow??

Greetings The framing at 45 degree corners is not mitering as it would be built in practice... as 2 - 22.5 degee cuts... I am trying to detail some tall walls and the framing is not showing up as I wish and I cannot seem to change angle on end of plates to reflect reality..Help

I am putting recessed lights in the soffit of a house and the fixture keeps orienting parallel to roof plane not soffit.. I can off set for height difference but can't seem to rotate the light to be horizontal. Suggestions?

Greetings, I am trying to create a couple of non- load carrying walls in a front poach area for decoration around a post to give the post a tapered look.. to go from 24" wide to bottom to 12" at top on one side, over 9-10'... any ideas of how to do this??

any other suggestions? I don't have tool bar to click on and the "View .. Toolbar" give me nothing

I am having trouble locating the area to turn on the tool bars under word "file, edit, build..etc. I recently had to change computers and reinstall X7 and now primary tool bars are missing.. Help anyone?
