  1. Hello. We are looking for an experienced Chief Architect designer to take over and complete an existing home project. The floor plan and overall design are substantially developed. What we need now is someone who is very detail-oriented, has a strong design aesthetic, and understands European/English Tudor architecture well enough to refine the exterior and carry the project through accurately. This is a good fit for someone who—has substantial experience working in Chief Architect; is comfortable taking over an existing Chief Architect file rather than starting from scratch; has a strong eye for proportion, roof lines, elevations, architectural detailing, and overall composition; is thorough and reliable about following revision notes; has experience with European, English Tudor or related transitional residential design; and can work collaboratively while also bringing good design judgment to the project. The home is 2 story, approximately 3100 ft.². The exterior elevation uses brick, stone, and board and batten siding with some metal roof accents. I’ve tried to attach a hand drawn concept image that shows the architectural direction we are trying to achieve, but continue to receive an error message so I will try to attach the image as a reply to this post. If this sounds like a good fit, please send: a few examples of comparable residential work, a brief description of your Chief Architect experience, your current availability, and your hourly rate or fee structure. We are on a fairly tight timeline and would like to find someone who can begin soon. Remote is completely fine. Location is not important. Thank you for your consideration.
