I have done a drawing and I am in the final stages of the drawing 4600 sq ft house. Hours of work.
All of the sudden, the ceiling heights have changed, and they did not all change to the same heights.
I am using Chief Architect Home Designer Pro 2025.
I can try to change the ceiling heights but some of the ceiling heights stay changed. Some revert back to the previous height, and some change to something different.
My finished ceiling height is supposed to be 107 5/8".
I can change 1 room to 107 5/8 and it stays.
A 2nd room will be at 94 1/8" and I try to change it and it will not accept the change.
A 3rd room will be at 97 7/8" and I change it to 107 5/8 and after the change that room will be 107 3/4".
When I started the drawing, I drew the first floor outline. I set the ceiling height at 107 5/8" for the entire plan.
I also notice that the wrench icon for the default settings. I notice that some of the measurements have the red check mark and some do not.
I have looked trying to find the default setting for ceilings. It is not in the Floors and Rooms portion of the default settings.
