  1. Rock star staus Shane. What was the magic (teach a guy to fish)? Some combination of wall intersections and attic walls?
  2. FYI for frame of reference, that internal picture is up near the ceiling of the bonus room above the garage along the shared wall to the house and shows some of the perpendicular walls poking through.
  3. First of all Shane, thanks so much for taking a look and a stab at the solution. Bad news: it's not working. Great news: it exactly illustrates the problem(s) I am encountering (and had failed to take a screen shot of during my many iterations) so I'm betting you just moved the ball forward quite a bit. :-)
  4. Just noticed that the lower shed type roof on the front was too close to the wall so it was cutting into the siding. That was not the issue, just user error.
  5. Hello Chief Pros, Noob here and struggling with attached garage / house wall transition. Some unique components (thick exterior insulation and upper level of house narrower than 1st floor so there are wall flips from exterior to interior and back again. Simplified plan attached. X17. Have drawn the two buildings separately and placed them where the roof ridges would be aligned but at different heights. I can get things close when changing to a shared wall, but never spot on. Have tried wall intersection edits as well as auto attic settings on and off. Close but no cigar. Any help / pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Tom X17 Attach Garage.plan.zip
