  1. Many thanks, mgabriel. Worked like a charm. Guess I've got a lot to learn. Thanks again for the prompt response!!
  2. As shown in the attached image, I am trying to model my home. When I create a roof, using Build Roof Plane, the roof is created perfectly, except for the family room offset at the back of the house on the first floor. The roof for this room is a gable roof, but darned if I can figure out how to change it. Any help is appreciated.
  3. I'm trying to model my house. The front has a concrete deck/porch, with a roof overhead. In the attached image, I created the "room" as a deck, then changed it to porch. My problem is, I want to get rid of the three posts showing, and replace it with one custom post on the outside corner. I'll create this post in sketchup and import. But I can't find how to delete those posts in any of the dialogue boxes. Help anyone?
  4. Thanks for all the prompt responses. The ramp worked perfectly!!
  5. The floor of the attached garage on my house slopes slightly away toward the driveway (roughly, 10 inches over 20 feet). I've been unable to find any tool/adjustment that allows me to accomplish this. I know that the terrain tools allow for sloping on the surrounding terrain, but not the inside of the house/garage. Is there any way I can model this sloped garage floor in my plan?
  6. You guys are freaking awesome!! That minimum separation adjustment finally did the trick!! Thanks so much!!
  7. Thanks so much for prompt reply. I tried the doorway and pass thru window, as Scott suggested, but I can't get the window to push up against the doorway. I've removed all framing, sills, lintels, etc. How to ensure the minimum separation distance is zero?
  8. I'm using CA Premier X6. I'm trying to draw an interior wall as shown in the attached image. The two cylinders are just decorative posts. I can't find any way to model the two wall sections that do not reach to the ceiling. It seems all walls default to the room's ceiling height. Is there any way around this??
