I have used Home Designer Suite for about 20 years. I have actually built 15 luxury homes and have done 7 major renovations using this tool! I am guessing I problaby have done over a thousand versions of these projects to get to a final. I'm done doing all that now, but have a few small renovations - a kitchen reno for my own home. Apparently the latest version of MAC caused a product licensing issue so I went to upgrade to a later version to resolve it and was disappointed to see they went to a subscription model at a price i am not willing to pay. In the beginning, I would have paid that but now that I am more of a DIY small project guy it isn't worth it for me. I didn't see any drastic improvement in features that would make it worth while either. I feel that life sometimes is leaving me behind as I age, but really i guess I am just no longer keeping up! Anyways, it has been really good....unbelievably good so I can't complain but time to part ways with this project that I have touted for over 2 decades! I think i might look to AI to help now...another learning curve.
