  1. Thanks, I understand that (now), but his post was edited after the fact. It was obvious in the posts just prior with Kbird1 that I had already realized that, so the "I rest my case" comment along with the edited one wasn't necessary. Or if it were explained as you just did there wouldn't have been a problem either. Either way, thanks, I've found the correct forum.
  2. Nice of you to change your post. My response was to what you actually wrote, not what you changed it to.
  3. Well perhaps you should contact http://www.chiefarchitect.com/ where I bought my software, and state your case to them. http://www.chiefarchitect.com/ > support > ChiefTalk. It brings you to THIS forum. It does not state that it is for x7. It is the forum for the company I purchased my software from. Tell them to make it clearer so the "Suite 2015" people so they can't get in and bother you. Or there's always the option of not being an ...
  4. Your case is that I am in the forum? What is your problem with me being in the forum?
  5. Doesn't work. Yes, I am. What exactly is your case?
  6. And the funny thing was that when I searched that forum for "wall height" and no threads came up I couldn't believe it. Then when I came back on this morning, there were lots of them so I just clicked this one. So I am guessing I don't belong here
  7. Kbird1 - where am I? Ba ha ha This is just crazy. All I know is I clicked forums from the tab on the website i purchased the software from. I swear as much as I am looking like a dingbat, I'm not.
  8. Evergreen - Thank you. By simple I meant a wall height. I don't have an Architectural Tab in preferences so I guess I should have started my question stating I have Suite 2015. I found the invisible feature, thanks, but in following what DRAWZILLA suggested, that did not work. dshall - I think the problem is actually that it is automatic. It is changing the height of all the walls. I am green on THIS software, but hopefully I will catch on. It is only the second day using it. I actually watched a lot of the tutorials beforehand and didn't think I'd have a problem at all. Somehow I don't think it's just me that's the problem. Chiefer - It's not. If you think adding a second floor (and somehow being expected to know that) to a plan that actually doesn't have a second floor, and having to do all of these adjustments to simply size a wall is simple then you were probably one of the ones that rated this software user friendly Doing what you suggested doesn't work because it changes ALL of the walls which was the topic of this thread to begin with. So.... I still have not been able to change the wall height. Great...
  9. I'm looking for someone to come see the land I own, and then do a design for me. I need a layout for the house, pool, pool house, basketball court, a detached garage apartment, as well as landscape design for a partially sloping lot with a walk out, tiers and a river on a 4 acre lot.
  10. I am having the same problem. But being VERY green with this software, can someone please tell me where to go to find "making the walls invisible" and how to make it "open below". I can't even find a question I posted last night on this board. Am I crazy or is this stupidly difficult. Adjusting a wall height should be BASIC and simple.
