  1. So sorry to hear this news. I enjoyed learning from Mike's videos very much. He was very good at it and easy to listen to.
  2. I hope to download X11 soon. I watched the video and I'm excited about the new features. Unfortunately, we make our presentations via laptop and that isn't as current with speed, drivers, etc. Hope to get that all ironed out soon!
  3. Putting this all in my mental file cabinet, and probably a bookmark to this page too. Thanks for your time and advice Mick!
  4. Yes, they joined automatically when I placed them next to each other. Is overlapping the trick to keeping them from auto-joining?
  5. The video was very helpful Steve. Thank you! I was trying to do it the way Mick suggested but they were touching so I think that was the problem. Also using a soffit is a good idea for the door passage Mick. Thank you all for the input. Have a great Friday!!
  6. and P.S. I will look at winders too
  7. Hey thanks Greg!! I will have to study this a bit. It must be easy as you turned it around quickly! And yes I would have it closed below. Thanks again.
  8. Hello, I am trying to recreate the stairs in the photo, in the attached plan. I'm struggling to get the railings to terminate on the end of the wall. I tried splitting the stairs into two parts but can't figure out how to get the railing to do what I want. Any suggestions? Thanks, Denise X10 User Amhaus_-_Copy.plan
  9. Thank you so much Eric. That was an easy fix. I could not find that info anywhere.
  10. Hello, I am having problems using custom backsplash in the attached kitchen plan. I cannot apply custom backsplash on any of the kitchen walls, nor the family room for that matter (just doing some testing). Works fine in the laundry room and office (also testing). I deleted the windows, and trayed ceiling to see if that would help but that didn't change anything. If I click and drag in a 3D view, it appears to be trying to applying it to a horizontal surface. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks, Denise Version X10 Amhaus_-_Copy.plan
  11. Eric - Thanks for the link to prior forum. I will check out. I had searched, but could not find anything. So thanks. -Susan

  13. Hello, We need help with making neo-angle walls. Please look at our glass shower enclosure. Where the walls meet, we get bad connections and have not been able to "join" them. What causes this? Is there a way to change Wall or Door settings to prevent this from happening? Thanks for your help, Susan. 2019-03-04_Poll_-_Master_Bath_-_proposed_bath__1.plan
