Thank you DB. I'm new to CA -- you were right that I had used the space planning tool and inserted the bathroom. A question-- why wouldn't I use the tools that have for inserting what I want, ie. bathroom, closet, garage, hallway, etc.? Any recommendation for just getting started -- need to design a small mountain home in a short period of time.

I'm using CA-17. I've created a bathroom using the bathroom tool and there are diagonal lines through it. When I insert an object (washer, cabinet), it is hidden and I can't see the placement. Any suggestions? below is a picture what I'm seeing. Thanks - Bernie
