  1. Hey Jason, This definitely sounds worth trying, so I searched "poster" in my library browser to try it and the only poster results I get are 4-poster beds and the periodic table of elements poster. I tried using the poster, but I have no idea how to proceed from there. Could you explain step by step?
  2. oh yes, this ceiling was a whole thing. I had a ton of help from a very generous and knowledgeable member of this community. The goal was to loosely recreate the original building's space frame structure, but it's not an exact replica as I am just designing the interior.
  3. @TeaTime This took me far longer than I'd like to admit. I had a lot of difficulty figuring out the X, Y, and X axis and the offset settings. Got there eventually! I created the 3D solid by tracing the outline with a polyline. Fairly simple for this symbol, however most of my other symbols are more complicated for that technique and it will take a very long time to create each one. If anyone has a easier way to make the image (symbol) into a 3D solid, I'd love to hear it.
  4. That's so clever! I'll give that a try. Thanks!
  5. This is great Rene! Thanks! Now, it is possible to get a decal on a door? I want to put a giant music note on this door.
  6. Ah yes, now that you point it out it seems obvious. Thanks!
  7. Hi @mtldesigns, thank you, that is a good solution and a feature I wasn't aware of. I am still curious if there's a way to maintain the CAD block but this is great!
  8. Hello friends, I want to use the "Art Light" in the library, and increase it to 24" wide but I don't want the cad block to change. It there a way to change the fixture, but not alter the original 2D cad block in the process? Thanks!
  9. Hello, I'm wondering if anyone has a good solution for creating wall decals. I managed to get a half decent result with creating a new material with an image than applying that material to a wall material region. But I'd like something that I can manipulate more easily and not have a background. I want to put a decal on my doors and can't figure out how I would do that. Here's some images of what I'm trying to achieve:
  10. Hello friends, I filleted the corners of a polyline and now these crosshairs appear. How do I get rid of them?
  11. Hi Friends, Is there a way to have a room label display the area instead of the dimensions?
  12. Hi Jason, thank you for the suggestions. That link doesn't work for me.... any suggestions?
  13. This is great! Can you provide any further information on how to do this?
