Sorry for the tardy response and note of thanks....I just saw this response. I am new to modeling so trying to learn my way. I appreciate the help. Since this is an existing condition, I agree with Chopsaw, the ROI vs time is not worth it. Condition will certainly be noted once I get to CDs. Avoiding depiction of the non-existent rim joist will be my victory. Good to know the Floor Beams option as well. Should certainly help me down the road. I am a new user. I am doing an as-built of a 1920s masonry rowhouse. The joist (full 2x10s) are pocketed into the exterior walls. I don't see a framing option to address this situation. My workaround has been to declare the framing as suspended, but the program wants to provide rim joist as well. I suspect others have solved this issue. Assistance would be welcome.
