I found the solution, to export the wall definitions from a new drawing into the old drawing.

I created a drawing with Home Designer Pro and purchased Chief afterwards. Some of the wall types are not available in the older drawing when when I open it in Chief and I can't figure out how to access them. When I open a new drawing all the wall types are there, just not the old. Please help!

I accidentally deleted all unused wall types before I was ready to get rid of them. Is there a way to restore them?
