I imported a DWG file from someone else to edit the electrical plan. I was able to locate walls, windows, and doors with CAD to walls, but all of the electrical items are just showing as CAD symbols and don't have any of the defaults of an electrical item: I.e. the connect electrical tool isn't recognizing any of the preexisting lights, switches, fans. How do I convert these symbols to their appropriate item, if possible?

How do I build a 2 over 2 casement? See attached, but in a casement instead of single hung.
