This photo is essentially what I am trying to draw.

I am trying to create a open beam gable in the middle of that manually drawn single slope porch roof. I want the gable to be open framing rafter/beams all the way back to the shed wall and a post beam truss for the face instead of a gable end wall. Is there a video or a step by step on this topic that I could learn from? I can't seem to find what I'm looking for in the Chief videos. I may just be overlooking where to find it. Thanks for any help!

The plot plan view displays the boundary lines only when the 2nd level of the Working Plan View is active. How do I get it to display the plot boundary lines with level 1 or level 0 selected? Top screen is correct, lower screen is not showing the boundary.

I drafted this timber framed truss with poly line solids, now I want to union them so I shift select all 4 beams and then hit the union key but only 2 will union. I can go back and select the now (3) objects and try to union the remaining and it will not do it. I also would like to work with poly line solids but I cant find poly line options in the X16. can anyone help me out? Thanks!

I am trying to draft a stud framed shop and am planning to finish the exterior with a 29 G. painted metal (36" wide Pro Panel). Can somebody help he find that siding/roofing option in my library / catalogue?
