  1. Perfect! Thank you. I appreciate it. Matt
  2. Hi everyone, First of all, I've worked all morning to find a solution prior to asking for help. In my opinion, asking for help without first trying to help yourself is not an option. That being said, I have inadvertently moved my two roof planes of my simple gable-roofed structure. Being new to Chief, I'm certain i moved each plane at one point, believing I was moving something else or changing views. Because of this, my roof planes were a mess and weren't showing properly. I've figured out most of the issues and resolved them, yet I can't seem to find a way to have the East plane match the West plane so they meet at the ridge. One plane shows the Birdsmouth Depth and Set under Roof Plane/Measurements at 0", while the other plane has expected values. I can't find a difference between planes to make adjustments. Any thoughts or suggestion? My plan is attached, if helpful. Thank you. Matt LaForge Chief Architect Premier X14 Windows Coplin V5.zip
  3. Not sure why, but it works now. I must've done something wrong initially. Thanks for all of your help! Matt
  4. Great article. Thanks. I did those before I saw the article (I looked for it, I swear) and I still can't get it to work, even on a newly built wall. Looks like I can't modify once the wall is built, but why I can't get new walls to follow 16 OC like my roof is odd. Thanks, again.
  5. Thanks. It is all set at 16 but wasn't originally. Looks like I need to be rebuild all my exterior walls, huh? I just rebuilt one as a test and it still came up at 24" OC. I chose 16 OC as I want my wall framing to match my rafters. I'm in zone 5 and need R49 in my cathedral ceiling, driving me to 16 OC. Thanks for your input.
  6. I can't seem to find a way to correct a possible default as my walls are showing as 24 on-center and all framing settings in General Framing Tools have been set to 16 OC. My roof framing is correct, but not the walls. Any ideas?
