  1. Hello, I have a client that wants to add a roof over an existing deck. I have created a new rail on the deck to support the roof per his request and chosen the "post to beam" option on the railing style, but the beam does not reach the roof--there is a large gap. It does not let me manually make it higher and I have gone through all the adjustments. On the lower end of the roof, I did the same thing with that railing and it does meet the roof. All my settings on both sides are the same so I'm not sure what I've done wrong and this is not the first time I have ran into this issue. Is there a way to get this to work using the railing or do I just need to manually draw my posts and beams? Thank you.
  2. Thank you so much. I am new to this and spent way too much time trying to figure this out. I appreciate the help!!
  3. Hello, When I define a room and a label is added to the space with dimensions, those dimensions do not match the interior dimensions that I drew the room at. I have my defaults set to Framing. In the picture below, you can see that the room dimension is 16' but the label is calling it 15'-11". Please advise.
  4. How do I make the wraps around part round?
  5. I got it to wrap finally but I want it round, not square and it doesn't seem to be able to make a rounded square. What I am basically trying to do is create a quarter circle wrapped by stairs on the radius side.
  6. Hello, I am trying to draw a four-stair landing that wraps around. I have the "Wrap Stair" activated and both stairs have the same attributes and are coming off the same landing but when I pull the edges together, they just overlap, they do not wrap. I can get the wrap to work on a deck but not on an interior staircase off a landing. Any ideas? WRAPPED STAIR.pdf
