  1. Thanks very much for your response. I have been using the "Edit Page Information" tool and a revision table in the title block, but that seems to only report the revisions for that specific page. I am looking for a list of ALL revisions on ALL of the pages. I would like to have the ability to see what revision numbers (and dates and descriptions) have been used throughout the entire layout file. That would help me determine the next sequential number to use when I have to make another revision somewhere down the road. It would be great to just have a master list of revisions with "check boxes" to specify which of those revisions apply to each page.
  2. Is there a way to quickly determine the next revision number? If I have to create a revision that happens weeks or months after the project is submitted, I can't remember what numbers I've used. So, I have to look at each layout page to see what the next revision number should be. Is there a way to manage a list of page revisions that pertain to the entire layout file?
  3. Thanks very much for the help...I'll give it a try.
  4. I hope someone will be able to steer me in the right direction to create this cable railing (see image) that is integrated into a stepped stucco parapet wall. How can I specify the different heights in the stucco wall? Thanks.
  5. Yeah, I thought as much...thanks very much for the guidance. Now, time to get to work!
  6. I received this floor plan PDF from an architect. This looks like my worst nightmare! Can anyone offer a clue as to the methods I would use to create the wall corners that I have circled in the attached image? I can't get the walls to clean up correctly. Thanks very much.
  7. Thanks very much! I'll give it a try.
  8. Can anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong with a wall in my plan? I have a fence wall that is projecting itself up to the underside of a roof soffit. There is a portion of wall that appears on the underside of the soffit, and I just can't figure out what's causing it. I've attached the plan file that has a saved camera and also the problem area clouded. I've also attached an image where I've circled the problem area. I know there are many out there who are smarter than me and I'd appreciate any help. Thanks very much. Adelman Residence.zip
  9. I'm sorry I can't post the plan...still too big after compressing. In the image I've shown a wall between a Loft space that should be open to the Great Room below. When the wall is selected as an invisible or solid wall everything is fine, but when I switch the wall type to Railing, is acts as if the wall definition is removed and the two spaces become a single room. It was working perfectly yesterday, but I broke it today. Any ideas what I'm missing? Thanks,
  10. I have imported site data (property lines, topo, etc.) from an engineer's DWG file. Now I have to rotate and align the site data with my house plan. My thought is to group the site objects together so that I can move and rotate all of those objects as a single object. Because of the different types of objects imported from the DWG, I can't seem to make a cad block or a symbol. I don't dare try to manipulate all of the imported objects because I would have to select each of them for every command (move, rotate, etc), which would be impossible. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  11. Does anyone have a favorite way to do wall pop-outs? In the attached image I received from the architect, the red arrows show the pop-outs I need to create. If I make another wall type with a double framed wall the exterior finish does not wrap around the ends (blue arrows). What am I missing? Thanks
  12. I'm trying to place a section of gravel on a grass terrain perimeter. I've tried a material region, but I can't place it lower than the adjacent floor height. How can I show these two materials on the terrain? Thanks
  13. Is there any way to justify the text of a note schedule vertically? (Top and bottom) I can't seem to locate how to align the note number with the top line of the note description. Am I missing something?
