Yep, that's the method I got to work but only with an interior wall. If I do the same steps with an exterior wall, it doesn't cut below for some reason
I have a gable dying into a shed roof, and the gable creates a knee-wall. But it leaves an opening above where the soffit would return. Any way to close this off correctly?
Our firm likes to have 6" corner boards on the front/back of a house, with 4" on the sides. Is there a way to make a corner board with two sizes? 4" on one side and 6" on the other?
Robert that looks perfect! (Nice touch including my bag haha)
I'm pretty sure I follow what you're suggesting, but may need to pick your brain again if I'm not getting it to work out.
Cheers!
Hi Eric,
I have basically what you have. But how can I not show the side stringers (so that the wall goes right to the treads), and have the carpet runner lap over the side?
I've seen the methods of creating a typical rake wall, and tried to replicate in order to make this existing stair condition, but it's pretty different than the "usual".
Any idea on the best way to make this as-is?
Cheers,
